You are a pumpkin... Your life consists of sitting in a field, growing, waiting for the harvest, when you and your kin will be sent off to stores to be sold. A family will probably buy you and carve you into a jack-o-lantern, and you will site on their porch until Halloween, the peak of your existence. Another pumpkin in the patch has somehow com to possess a malicious, destructive power, and every night the pumpkins live in fear of his wrath. You are their only hope.
